Dear Friends,
Dear Friends,

I was honored to be the 2009/2010 President of the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF). During my presidency, the AOF adopted new mission and vision statements, approved a new strategic plan for 2010 through 2013, and revised the Foundation's Bylaws. It has been a busy year, but we have accomplished a lot.
The sole objective of the AOF each year is to make the osteopathic profession better today than it was yesterday. We have continued to do that over the past year by supporting excellence in osteopathic medicine, and, thereby, excellence in care by osteopathic physicians and organizations they are privileged to serve.
The dedication of our many benefactors, like you, enabled us to make a difference in the lives of many within the osteopathic profession. Simply stated, the AOF's continued success means more awards, grants, and programs for osteopathic students and physicians whose outstanding accomplishments are raising the bar for osteopathic excellence worldwide.
We hope that our past accomplishments and current endeavors capture your attention and lead to your commitment to the AOF and the work we do. A gift to the AOF demonstrates your leadership, your personal commitment our mission, your dedication to the osteopathic profession, and will help us to make certain that osteopathic medicine remains the vital force behind excellence in care.
On behalf of the AOF’s Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for helping us make a difference for many.
Warmest regards and thank you for a great year as President of the AOF,
Teresa A Hubka, DO
