The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) is a 501(c)(3) public chairty that invests in the future of osteopathic medicine.  As a not-for-profit organization, we're driven by the donors we serve.  By you.  Through philanthropy, you can influence the course of our work and ultimately the future of osteopathic medicine.

The AOF seeks and secures support benefiting thousands of osteopathic medical professionals by providing an array of grants, scholarships, and awards for students and physicians, providing awards to recognize best practices in osteopathic medicine, and providing funds for basic and clinical research in osteopathic settings.

Your contribution to the AOF represents an investment in the future.  The AOF offers different levels/types of giving within the following categories: Individual, Affiliate, and Industry.

Gifts of cash, via personal check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) are the most direct and most popular type of charitable gift. You may specify a purpose for your gift or, if you prefer, leave it unrestricted for use where the need is the greatest.  Gifts to the AOF are deductible up to the full extent of the law.

Through endowment gifts, donors ensure perpetual support for a variety of initiatives at the AOF.  The annual investment income generated by an endowment fund covers program expenses, while the principal remains intact to ensure future funding.
