AstraZeneca Spirit of Humanity Award
Deadline: June 11, 2010 - CLOSED FOR 2010Providing health care to underserved communities continues to be a national concern. The lack insurance and availability of health care resources for treating underserved populations severely compromises disease prevention activities. The AstraZeneca Spirit of Humanity Award honors the extraordinary efforts of those who provide urgently needed health care services to the indigent, underserved, or those with barriers to quality health care.
The recipient of this $10,000 award will be an osteopathic physician, center, or program that provides urgently needed health care to these populations.

The 2010 recipient will be notified in July and will receive their award on October 24th at the annual AOF Honors Celebration in San Francisco.
