Merck Outstanding Resident of the Year Award

Every now and again, residents comes along who embody the great spirit of altruism, whose combination of clinical promise, ability to think outside the box, skills in health care, and commitment to the osteopathic profession separate them from the crowd. They are also looked upon to become future leaders, advocates for their patients, and some even become national and world leaders in health care or research. The Merck Outstanding Resident of the Year Awards recognize these outstanding residents.

The recipients of the four $5,000 awards will be osteopathic physicians currently in their 2nd through last year of an AOA approved residency program who go above and beyond to bring a sense of pride to the osteopathic profession.

THE NOMINATION PROCESS IS CLOSED FOR 2010. GOOD LUCK TO ALL NOMINEES!

The 2010 recipients will be notifed in August and will recieve their awards on October 24th during the annual AOF Honors Celebration in San Francisco.
