CAP Physician of the Year Award (Not offered in 2010)

Building a strong foundation is the secret to success. The AOA’s Clinical Assessment Program, commonly known as CAP, is one such foundation that helps physicians achieve excellence in care by promoting the importance of quality improvement and providing the tools to accomplish it. The CAP Excellence Award for "Physician of the Year" rewards excellence in care, in the areas of Diabetes or Coronary Artery Disease, as a result of participation CAP.

This award is one of the two CAP Excellence awards offered by the AOF. It recognizes an osteopathic physician who utilizes CAP to demonstrate the importance of quality improvement in improving patient care.

THIS AWARD WILL NOT BE OFFERED DURING 2010. THE AOF HOPES TO SECURE FUNDING IN 2011.

The 2009 recipient was presented with the award on November 1, 2009 during the AOF Honors Celebration in New Orleans. Congratulations!
