The Rossnick Humanitarian Grant program provides funding for members of the osteopathic profession who plan to travel to underserved, underdeveloped or disaster stricken areas to provide medical services. The goal of this grant is to inspire and empower members of the osteopathic profession to participate on humanitarian medical missions.

To qualify for a grant, the recipient shall be an osteopathic physician, fellow, or resident who plans to travel to an underserved, underdeveloped or disaster stricken area on a humanitarian mission for the purpose of providing medical relief, setup health facilities, provide medical services, and or educate health care workers so they can provide better care to those in need.

The AOF Board of Directors approved $10,000 for Rossnick Humanitarian Grants between June 1st and December 31st, 2010. Grants up to $2,500 will be awarded to those who best meet the eligibility criteria.


ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE AOF AT LEAST 45 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE HUMANITARIAN TRIP.
