The AOF is pleased to recognize Joshua Allen Herring, OMS II as the 2017 recipient of the Thomas A. Quinn, DO, Osteopathic Scholarship.
Joshua is a second-year osteopathic medical student at Edward Via –College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia. An excellent student maintaining top academic achievements, Herring has made it a point to immerse himself in the study of OMM by attending several conferences and spending additional time with colleagues and teachers.
His goal is to attend an osteopathically focused residency as an Air Force reserve member in order to continue to expand his skills.
The Discipline Chair for Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, David G. Harden, DO, FAAP, describes him as “an exceptional student whose passion for ongoing learning and teaching osteopathic principles and practice is truly infectious”.
